Essential Qualification: i) Bachelor’s Degree with Honors or
Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from any UGC recognized University.
For Biological Science a candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree with Hons./Post
Graduate Degree in any of the subjects viz. Zoology, Botany & Physiology.
B. Posts in Pass Category
Essential Qualification: i) Minimum marks required for
appearing for TET Examination is 50% at Graduation or Master Degree level
.Minimum educational qualification is required for appearing TET Examination is
a Graduation Degree from any UGC recognized University along with minimum marks
as stated above for Graduate Teacher in pass vacancy of class V to VIII.
C. Posts in Undergraduate Category
Essential Qualification : Higher Secondary from the West
Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education
or equivalent. 50% marks or above in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.

Age limit West Bengal Madrasah Service Commission Recruitment 2014 – Assistant Teachers and Under Graduate Teachers: Minimum: 20 years as on 01.01.2013 (i.e. not born after 01.01.1993) Maximum : 40 years as on 01.01.2013 (i.e. not born before 01.01.1973)

Brochure: Rs. 300/- for General candidates, for Physically
Handicapped Rs. 100/- and Rs.1000/- for general in-service teachers who avail the relaxation of age.
