Educational Qualification:
For GoK recognized ITI Candidates -> Should have a pass certificate of 18/24 months course in "Electrician/ Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic" Trade from Industrial Training Institutes (ITI's) recognized by the Government of Karnataka.
For the candidates who have undergone training for a period of 3 years in KEB/KPTCL Training Institutes -> Should have passed 10th Standard Examination (AND) Should have a pass certificate of three years "Lineman trade" / "Electrician Trade" imparted by the Industrial Training Institutes of KEB / KPTCL.
Other Qualification:
(1) Should have knowledge of Kannada in reading and writing.
(2) Should have normal eye sight.
(3) Should have satisfactory physical fitness and shall qualify in the Endurance Test.
Eligibility:

Selection Process: The selection will be made through Endurance Test. The test will be conducted in the following events:
a) 100 meters Running : 14 seconds (Max)
b) Skipping : 50 limes in one minute
c) Shut put (12 pounds) : Min, of 8 meters throw (3 Opportunities)
d) Climbing of Electric Pole : 8 meters height (Compulsory)
e) 800 meters running : 3 minutes (Max)
Age Limit: 18 to 35 Years
Application Fee: Rs.400/- for General Category and Category IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB; Rs.200/- for SC/ST Category Candidates. The Fee pay through Bank Challan (State Bank of India Branches).
