DLW Varanasi for Scouts and Guides Quota Posts Recruitment

Indian Railways invites applications for various Group C and
Group D posts under Scouts and Guides Quota. All the posts are for Diesel
Locomotive Works at Varanasi. For this, an employment notice no. 01/ 2013 has
been published in the official website of DLW Varanasi. Interested candidates
can apply.
Name of post: 3 vacancies are for the posts of Group
‘C’ and Group ‘D’ against Scouts & Guides Quota.
Qualification: High School Pass certificate or ITI
certificate is essential for this post. Candidates should be a President
Scouts/ Guides/ Rangers or a pre-HWB trained scouts leader/ Advanced Trained
Guides / Leader/ Captain and also should have been an active member of a scouts
organization.
Process of selection: Selection will be based on
the performance of candidates in written test, scouts and guides qualification
followed by an interview. Written test will be of objective type with total 50
marks. Qualification will contain 35 marks and interview will be of 15 marks.
Applying process: Interested candidates can apply by
sending an application form in a prescribed format with a recent passport size
photograph pasted and full signature on it. Documents should be send to the
address of “General Manager/ Personnel, Recruitment Section, DLW/ VARANASI –
221004”.
Documents required: Filled in application form,
recent passport size photograph with signature, 2 self addressed envelop with
stamp of Rs.5/- on one envelop and copies of birth certificate, caste
certificate, scouts and guide qualification certificate.
Last date: Last date for the receipt of application
is 21st October 2013. Applications received after this date will not be taken
into consideration.
