Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM - Wholly owned Government of
Karnataka Undertaking) issued employment notification for recruitment to the
post of Assistant Lineman for filling up total 580 vacancies. Eligible ITI /
ITC Passed candidates are required to Register Online Application Form on or
before 15/04/2014.

Scale of Pay: Rs.7950-150-8100-190-9050-240-10250-300-11750-360-16790/-
Educational Qualification:
For ITI candidates -> Should have a pass certificate of 18/24 months course in “Electrician/ Electronics/Electronic Mechanic” trade from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) recognized by Government of Karnataka.
For ITC candidates -> Should have passed 10th Standard Examination and should have a pass certificate of THREE YEARS “Lineman trade”/“Electrician trade” (ITC) imparted by the Industrial Training Institutes of KEB/KPTCL.
Other Qualification:
(1) Should have knowledge of Kannada in reading and writing.
(2) Should have normal eye sight.
(3) Should have satisfactory physical fitness and shall qualify in the Endurance Test.
Eligibility: The candidates who have obtained minimum percentage of marks as prescribed below in the respective qualifying examinations only are eligible to apply for the posts.

b) Skipping : 50 times in one minute
c) Shot put 12 pounds : 8 meters throw (3opportunities)
d) Climbing of Electric Pole : 8 meters height (compulsory)
e) 800 meters running : 3 minutes
Application Fee: Rs 400/- for General and Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB; Rs.200/- for SC/ST Category Candidates. Candidates can pay the application fee through Online Mode (using Net Banking option, any Bank ATM cum Debit card, Internet Banking) OR Offline mode (pay by Challan at State Bank of India Branches).
